These Alpinestars racing boots were worn by professional driver Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez during the 2017 Formula 1 season while he was a member of the Sahara Force India team. This premium karting shoe features a unique design, including a single piece overlap tongue that shifts potential pressure points away from the top of the foot for superior comfort. The cushioned inner sole and specialized outer sole also provide enhanced pedal grip. Pérez was signed by Force India for the 2014 season with a €15 million contract, and continued with the team when it re-formed as Racing Point in 2019 after going into administration in 2018. Known for his consistency and strong driving skills, Pérez had an impressive 2017 season, earning 17 top-ten finishes and placing 7th in the Drivers’ Championship standings.
