In the 2000 Formula 1 season Michael Schumacher won the drivers' world championship for the third time. It was his first world championship title for the Ferrari team and the first driver's title Ferrari has won since 1979. In total he won 9 of the 17 races and relegated his McLaren-Mercedes competitors to the ranks.
With this overall victory, he laid the foundation for an impressive winning streak that would earn him another four world championship titles and immortalize him in the history books as the record world champion.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, Michael Schumacher's driver's cap of that time will now be re-released in the world champion design in a limited edition of 2,000 pieces.
The Ferrari-red cap with the well-known logo of Deutsche Vermögensberatung, main sponsor of Michael Schumacher, the F1 World Champion lettering and the laurel branches on the cap umbrella picks up all essential elements that accompanied Michael Schumacher in his long and successful Formula 1 career.
As a special highlight, the caps were embroidered with a separate edition number. This makes each cap a unique specimen in itself.
